2008 James Blake Nebbiolo

2008 James Blake Nebbiolo
Shenandoah Valley, Amador County
2008 James Blake Nebbiolo
Our 2008 Nebbiolo was produced from some of the very first Nebbiolo vines in Amador County.

Fifty cases of this Italian varietal were bottled after 12 months in French oak. The solid acid and tannic structure supports ample fruit with hints of plum and cherry. The rich, chewy, deep and long-lasting flavors can harmonize with the richest, strongest-flavored meats and stews, as well as dry, aged cheeses that may be too strong or distinctive for other wines.
